You can print a poster for a venue by following these instructions:
- Click the link alongside the venue
- Important - You may have issues if you are using a phone. It is advisable to use a tablet or larger. There may be issues with some Android phones at present.
- The page that opens will show you what the poster will look like BUT will include buttons (see below)
- You may need to zoom out to see it all but it doesn't affect the final print if you don't
- Do not try to use 'print-screen' or try to copy the page as this will include the buttons! Follow the next instruction
- Click on the print button (or right-click anywhere on the page and select Print Page if you can't see the button)
- A print dialog box will appear and you may need to make a few adjustments before you click print
- Depending on your browser, you need to look for these settings:
- Check the image in the printer dialog box - sometimes you need to tick the "Fit to Page" option but usually the 100% option is correct. You can see the effect in the thumbnail image
- If you can't see the poster, only the text, then you may need to go to the 'Advanced' section to see the following options as they are not always shown by default
- 'Print Backgrounds' - Make sure this is ticked. If it isn't the text will show but the coloured poster won't
- Printer Headers and Footers - Untick this to make sure the web page address disappears (not critical but advised)
- Check the paper size for your selected printer is A4 then just click Print
- Note: you can often create a PDF file to save (without the buttons showing) instead of using a physical printer by selecting the 'print to pdf' option in your list of printers or a look for PDF option somewhere on your printer page before you actually press 'Print'.
